Raquel Gallego

Raquel Gallego is Ph.D. in Government and M.Sc. in Public Administration and Public Policy by The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She is the Director of the Institute of Government and Public Policies and Aggregate Professor/Senior Reader of the Department of Political Science and Public Law, both at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). She holds the Accreditation of Full Professor by AQU-Catalunya (2010). Her research interests include public policy analysis, public management and public administration reform, welfare policies, and decentralization. She has published books, edited volumes, book chapters and articles in journals such as: International Public Management Journal, Governance, Public Administration – An International Quarterly, Public Administration Review, and Public Policy and Administration. She is reviewer and member of the editorial board of several academic journals. She has worked as an international consultant for the Interamerican Development Bank.
