Coding and Non-Coding Functions of the Genome. 2015 BCEC

The 3rd of the five meetings planned in the series of Barcelona Conferences on Epigenetics and Cancer (BCEC) will be co-organized by B·Debate and the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG). The 2015 BCEC will integrate the burgeoning field of epigenetics with the underlying processes of chromatin organization, transcription regulation and aspects of stem cell biology.

By bringing together the fields of epigenetics and cancer, the conference will allow for the sharing of ideas and concepts, and to create synergy between these two research fields, in order to foster this knowledge that can be exploited for the generation and improvement of novel tools for the prediction, the diagnosis, and eventually the individualized treatment of cancer.

The sessions of this meeting will cover the topics of Epigenetics, Cancer, Gene Regulation, Stem cell Biology, Genome organization, Chromatin structure and Metabolism. Sufficient time will be allocated for networking and poster presentations.
