Advanced Therapies and Regenerative Medicine. The Promise in the 21st Century

The scientific progress in the arena of cellular therapies and regenerative medicine will have enormous impact on medical, social and economical development. Both emerging areas will contribute to the building of a new paradigm: the cure of diseases by using cells, tissues, molecules and other components aiming to the final restitution of the lost architecture, functions and properties of diseased tissues or, eventually, organs.

This Meeting, co-organized by B·Debate and Banc de Sang i Teixits, aims to build-up a comprehensive overview on these areas, analyze the challenges and opportunities at short-middle term trigger a constructive debate around the potentiality and limitations of some of the more actively developing fields.

The debate will transversally include over thirty basic and translational researchers, experts on cellular and tissue therapies as well as medical specialists and investigators in the field.
