The Barcelona Debates on the Human Microbiome
The human microbiome is essential for human health and body functioning. In recent times we have started to elucidate the enormous scientific and therapeutic potential of the human microbiome in almost all medical fields, but there is still a long way to go.
Debate conference series ‘Barcelona Debates on the Human Microbiome’ has as a main goal to generate a forum for an interdisciplinary and international debate, that can bring together renowned experts from different disciplines currently investigating the microbiome. So far, this series has three editions (2015-2017) promoted by IrsiCaixa AIDS Research Center, Universitat de Vic - Universitat Central de Catalunya (UVic-UCC), Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR), Spanish National Cancer Research Center (CNIO) and Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol.
