Bioengineering and Medtech against Cancer

The medicine of the 21st century will benefit from bioengineering and medtech, enabling tools to design and analyze biological systems and developing new biomedical technologies.

Therapies based on bioengineering are already benefitting millions of patients (such as prostheses, imaging technologies or robotic surgery). One of the pathologies that can benefit most from the novel bioengineering approach, bringing together fields such as nanomedicine, biophysics, mechanobiology, biotechnology and ICT, is cancer. Here we will analyze the main hot technological topics that will revolutionize healthcare and assistance to cancer patients, including liquid biopsies, tumour on chip, mechanobiology, CAR-T therapies or targeted drug delivery.

In addition to the lectures, we will settle an innovation track with a pitch session and matchmaking opportunities with KOLs and venture capitals.

This event will be entirely celebrated online and free of charge.
